I decided to go to Kay’s threading after my mom and sister told me they like the service. I decided to go to get my eyebrows threaded before my wedding. I told Kay I was getting married the next day and she asked if I wanted to get a facial to prep for the wedding. I was nervous to try something new the day before my wedding but Kay assured me that she wouldn’t put any strong chemicals for the facial. Something in me trusted her even tho we just met!!! Today I took my daughter here to have her eyebrows done for the first time. Kay made my daughter feel comfortable and took her time to give my daughter exactly what she wanted. They do a meticulous job with any service you ask for, and always pay careful attention to exactly what you want. I highly recommend trying the eyebrow henna tinting, microblading-like results but a fraction of the cost and not permanent. I usually get Devi as my waxer, and she does a great job with Brazilians and arms, very thorough but also not rough. I called the place one night last week (figuring they might be closed since it was late) and Kay answered. I went to Kay's Threading for the first time today and I was treated like family. We all know that when it comes to things like hair, skin and especially eyebrows you are literally trusting that the person doing it is experienced, professional and listens to your concerns. Where do I start? Kay and her team are amazing when it comes to threading and henna.

I started going there when COVID restrictions were lifted on salons and was still working from home. After reading the reviews, I wanted to give Kay a try. When you come in, you feel welcomed and are treated like family. Kay and her team are pros (they work fast, which is actually a good thing for threading) -- they work with you on what shape you want. Most importantly, they listen and get to know you! By the next few visits later, they remembered my name and what was going on in my life at the time.

Recently, I started doing the henna tint. I was a little nervous because I'm blonde and didn't want my eyebrows too dark in contrast with my hair. While they do look a bit harsh when she's done (hint: wear glasses when you leave), it fades down to a nice shade in a day or two. Regardless, I feel so confident walking out of there.

Also, ASK FOR THE HEAD MASSAGE!!! Worth it!! If that is not considered self-care, I don't know what is.

In general, all the prices are reasonable, but having Kay and her staff work their magic on you is priceless....more

Kay always provides outstanding services and has a way of letting you know you’re in good hands. I go to her for leg, underarm and Brazilian waxes, facials, and threading and I always come out feeling my best. She is gentle and thorough, and I never feel pain during the process. I went in for the first time since COVID hit. I’ve been super nervous about going back to services due to some businesses not being professional regarding covid. HOWEVER, Kay kept her shop clean!!!! She installed dividers between the two threading stations. She took my temperature and even recorded all her clients’ names, contact and temperature. She only takes one client at a time and we all wait in our car until she is ready for us.

Onto the service. I got my brows threaded and henna’ed. THEY LOOK SOOOOOO GOOD and i came out a different girl! If i could give her 6 stars i would!!!...more

I have been going to Kay since she opened her salon over 15 years ago. I have gotten threading; facials and waxing done and they always do an excellent job, never rush and always ask if the customer is happy. Kay treats her customers like family and always does the right thing. My 3 teenage daughters and their friends also go to Kay's and when their friends ask WHO did their eyebrows or why their skin is glowing, they send them to Kays!!! If a young lady is sensitive or afraid to get threading or waxing, Kay makes a special effort to make sure that they are comfortable and if needed, have privacy. Kay is a business owner who runs her place with honesty and integrity and is open to feedback if a customer is unhappy. She is humble and kin . One of my daughters was so nervous about getting threading done and Kay made sure to comfort her and remind her that they are there to help each customer and take their time if a customer needs the extra time and attention. Kay who owns Kay Threading in Middle Village NY is an ICON in this neighborhood. Her business is threading, Eye Lash Extensions, Henna browing and Facials. I had the luxury of Kay giving me the most amazing facial, like no other experience I have ever had. Kay uses Professional Natural ingredient products unlike other places I have went to that use cheap over the counter chemically enhanced garbage. (Charging ridiculous prices.) The facial took 2 hours due to the many steps that most salons do not. Kay knowledge's you and preforms her magic from the HEART. She is kind, she is real and goes to great depths with this tremendous passion she has. She has many clients of 15 years +. The men and woman come to her from all over New York and as far as California.
You don't need Manhattan or even Beverly Hills to get any of Kay's services, we simply have this little place called Middle Village NY to feel like a million $BUCKS$. Kay along with her team of professionals are warm and welcoming to the 15+clients and the new such as myself.

I have been going to kay for 15 years for eyebrows. This is the 2nd time I’ve let her do a facial and honestly I will be back for another facial! Her prices are great but you can tell she also cares and enjoys doing it. My face usually would be red and broken out after removing all the black/white heads but not this time! My skin is so soft, it was so quiet and relaxing and I feel so much lighter. She mentioned how important it is to relax and that helps the skin also and even though I’m in the fitness industry and understand that, I didn’t understand that could affect my facial. Once I built a relationship with Kay, which didn’t take too long because of the sweet, honest person she is, I tried other services as well.
